Imamship Programme

Finally, the Muslim College is back with its new and revamped course for training British Imams.  We, both the old and the young at the college have been knocking our heads together and have devised a programme that caters for the needs of all citizens living in the United Kingdom, be it Muslims and non-Muslims. 

The Muslim College aims to provide religious leaders of the Islamic faith with the skills, tools and know how in dealing with life in Britain.

Topics covered in the course will include:

• Primary and Secondary Level Education: Methods & Techniques.

• Major faith communities in Britain.
• Dawah work in the United Kingdom.
• Interfaith Work.
• Public Speaking.
• Charity Commission: It's relationship with Muslim organisations.

• Madrasah Management.

The course is due to commence on Tuesday 17th November 2009 at 12:30pm.and will run over three semesters. 

Price for the course stands at £150.00. Concessions are available for students and the unemployed (Free for Muslim College students).
