Imamship Programme

Finally, the Muslim College is back with its new and revamped course for training British Imams.  We, both the old and the young at the college have been knocking our heads together and have devised a programme that caters for the needs of all citizens living in the United Kingdom, be it Muslims and non-Muslims. 

The Muslim College aims to provide religious leaders of the Islamic faith with the skills, tools and know how in dealing with life in Britain.

Topics covered in the course will include:

• Major faith communities in Britain.
• Dawah work in the United Kingdom.
• Interfaith Work.
• Public Speaking.
• Charity Commission: It's relationship with Muslim organisations.

• Madrasah Management.

• Fund-Raising: Techniques and Skills.

Course Starts: Tuesday 29th November 2011

Course Held: At the Muslim College every Tuesdays between 6:30pm to 8:30pm (with occasional excursions to supplement the training)

Course Fee: £150.00 (concessional rates available for students/unemployed)

Please note, experience of working with the Muslim community and/or qualifications in Islamic Studies is essential.
